Virtual Helper - Office Assistance Made Easy!

Specializing in Services to help Mary Kay Directors and Consultants!

Kaytee Albert - The Virtual Helper

Well, I got in this business by accident :) Kind of spawned off of a failed Mary Kay Directorship. Funny how we think we've got it all planned out and God just shows up in His sovreign way to redirect our path.

So here's the recap. Shortly after my husband and I were married, I started Mary Kay. Played around for a year or so then moved up to Director. That really didn't work out like I had imagined (you know with the Pink Car and executive income). Now I'm NOT saying that Mary Kay doesn't work, because it obviously does...there are plenty of successful directors and national sales directors to prove that. I absolutely love Mary Kay, the company, I am so impressed with its philosophies and Godly principles.

After a year of being a Director-my directorship ended. Soon after my good Sales Director friend, who was my second Mary Kay recruit, asked if I could start doing a newsletter for her. Then my Director asked me the same...then they started websites. In my first year I probably had 2 or 3 customers...4 at the most.

During this time I was working full time for my dad who owns a local business-buying and selling industrial equipment. The second year, (October 2007), I found out I was expecting. I really wanted to be able to have the choice to stay at home with the little one that was coming, so I prayed and sent out an email to the few customers I had. Told them there was a baby coming and if possible I'd like to do more of newsletters and websites, I basically begged them for referrals :) Let me tell ya' the Lord blessed my business, like I couldn't believe! He was so gracious to our new little family. You know when I started in Mary Kay, even though we had no children, my goal was to make MK work so that when the time came, I could raise my babies not someone else. Even though it didn't work out quite like I had imagined, Mary Kay has allowed me to be a "work at home mom."

By the time our Gabi was born in May of 2008, I probably had 10-12 customers and so much work I could afford to only work two days/week at my dad's shop. Almost exactly 4 years later, we welcomed our Son, Joseph Seth Albert, to the world! Seth was born May 12, 2012 - happy, healthy and the completion to our family.

As the years have gone by, the Lord has continued to bless this "Virtual Helper" and our family.

Now, I handle my Dad's accounting work from my home and my main focus is on servicing my ever growing customer base. I am so grateful for all of my customers. I enjoy helping Mary Kay Directors and Consultants grow their business by handling some of the "office work" that they don't enjoy :)

This has been a strange but exciting journey and I'm enjoying the ride looking forward to what God has in store!

"This is my prayer in the harvest, when favour and providence flow, I know I'm filled to be emptied again, the seed I've received I will sow....In all of my life, in every season, you are still God, I have a reason to sing, I have a reason to worship." -Lyrics from "Desert Song" Hilsong
